Biography:
Roxane Carrière (she/her) holds a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University (2012), a Master’s in Sports Sciences from the University of Montreal (2016) and a PhD from Laval University (2023) with a specialization in Sport Psychology. She has collaborated on innovative research projects with the University of Montreal, Laval University and HEC Pole Sports on various themes such as tactical creativity in team sports, positive youth development, life skills development and transfer, coaching practices, and safe sport. At the applied level, Roxane hold years of experience working with athletes, coaches, and sport teams from grassroots to elite levels to optimize performance through mental skills training. In parallel of her consulting, Roxane oversees the Women in Sport program at McGill University focused on promoting gender equity through athletics. Finally, Roxane currently serves as the Quebec regional representative for the Canadian Sport Psychology Association (3-year mandate) along with fellow representatives across the country to continue advancing the field of sport psychology.
