Biography: 

Danielle is a lifelong athlete and coach with a strong passion for Sport, High Performance and Wellbeing. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her Masters in Kinesiology at Dalhousie University. Since 2005, Danielle has been working in the field of Sport Psychology, with a variety of teams, athletes and sports. These include athletes of all ages, competitive levels, Special Olympics, and Paralympics, as well as coaches and parents. She has worked closely with Dalhousie Varsity, Canada Games, the Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic, National Teams, local clubs, and abroad with a Serie B Waterpolo team in Sicily.


Danielle is a registered Mental Performance Consultant with the Canadian Sport Psychology Association as well as a Competition Development (Level III) certified coach with the Coaching Association of Canada. During her 20 years as a coach, she coached Nationally and Internationally, was awarded Coach of the Year three times, and has lead two teams to win National titles. Danielle has also taught regularly at both Dalhousie and Acadia University as a Sessional Professor in the field of sport. Danielle has a person-centered approach to her work and aims to help her clients in achieving peak performance, personal growth, and wellbeing.
