Academic Members are individuals with a master's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution working as professors and/or researchers in a field related to sport psychology (e.g., exercise and sport science, kinesiology, psychology, counseling). They are not a Professional, Associate, Student, or Retired CSPA Member. They pay an annual fee but are not required to carry liability insurance, as they are non-practicing members outside of their academic responsibilities

 

You may become a CSPA Academic Member at any time during a given year by completing the CSPA Academic Application Form. To apply to become a CSPA Academic Member, you must submit the following:

 

• CSPA Academic Membership Application Form (EN),(FR)

• A copy of your CV

• A copy of the receipt for your $65.00 annual membership fee

• A copy of the receipt for your $50.00 application fee

 

All documents should be sent to Ashley Strike at memberships@cspa-acps.com at the same time, in an electronic format (i.e., Microsoft word, PDF).
