Biography:Â
Lisa Rogerson holds a doctoral degree in Sport Psychology from the University of Alberta and a Master’s Degree in Sport Psychology from the University of Manitoba. Lisa has been teaching undergraduate courses in the Faculties of Psychology, Physical Education and Recreation, and Interdisciplinary Studies at the University for Alberta and Macewan University for 15 years.
Lisa is a member in good standing with the Canadian Sport Psychology Association and AASP (Advancement of Applied Sport Psychology, USA) as accredited Sport Psychology/Mental Training consultant. Lisa works with National (Olympic)/Jr. National Sport Programs, Professional athletes in Golf, Hockey and Volleyball, Special Olympics, Varsity sports, as well as Provincial/Club level sports. In this capacity Lisa works closely with the Canadian Sport Institutes across Canada to ensure best practices and leading edge techniques are applied. Additionally, Lisa has been a member of Team Alberta mission staff for Canada Winter Games and Western Canada Games in a mental training capacity.
